Opt to Act™ faciliates practicing moving from intention to action (think of us like bumper lanes). We help you navigate through the thresholds of moving from decision to follow-through, at human speed, your speed. There’s no tracking, no time pressures, no gold stars.
Opt to Act is not "a" practice, it's practicing. We don’t make decisions for you. You’ll need to show up with an open mind to hear what’s being said, and associate how that may (or may not) fit into your current decision-action dynamic. Conversations are semi-structured and group orientated. Let yourself hear and try something, if it’s only to be re-grounded in what you already know. You also have to be ready to do the work. Like in real life, not in your head. That will take practice, and you’ll need to keep with it. That's why Opt to Act is here.
All Opt to Act opts are focused on practice by doing, in the real world. It’s okay if it doesn’t come out right (however many times), it just means you are practicing and trying things. Only until you feel you have honestly completed what YOU set out to do, can you say you followed through. Opt to Act provides practices so you can become aware of the rhythm of trying, sticking with it, and following through.
You have to trust showing up and seeing what happens.

The office hours are open format and semi-structured depending on the group’s needs of the group that shows up that day. We may not have time for exploring all individual opts or questions, but we believe the group discussions will provide practice and takeaways. This is a good option if you are working through your own personal opt or wanting to learn more about the practice of moving from decision to follow-through.
We look forward to you showing up.
The practice projects are opts that give you space and time to well, practice. These may not be “your (one) thing”, but it’s a great low-pressure way to practice and buildup your follow-through muscles. It does matter that the practice project moves you to some desired follow-through for yourself, so pick a topic that does matter to you. Why it matters to you can be completely different than why it matters to someone else doing the same practice project. We’ll develop more practice projects, including self-guided opts, as we get feedback from the group – so give us feedback!
